Games Testing (week 10 reading) In this weeks reading we are looking at the topic of criticism and the different forms it takes and how people perceive it. This article discusses how criticism is a good thing and I would agree ( once it is given correctly). without criticism, there is no real way for one to improve their product as they will be closed minded and unable to see problems others might see easily. There is no point in asking people to test their product then being unhappy when they don't receive the praise expected for certain elements. Constructive criticism isn't having your product wrongly criticized it is to aid in the final product, the goal isn't to hurt the feelings of the creator but to help them achieve what they set out to do. Vision Statement  Vision Image Genre The genre of game I have decided to work on is a challenging 3D platformer. This will be a game that will be simple at the core but very difficult to complete. In the age we live in now there are more video games being created than ever before, thanks to tools like unity and stream we have access to play just about anything with ease. The 3D platforming genre is no different there are many games under this genre some good and some not.  A good example of inspiring examples I have decided to develop a 3D platformer through this project as I see so many inspiring games and would like to add my own taste and attempt to the list. I love this genre as it can be as basic or advanced as one can make it. Final!

Sooooooo this is it, the final blog.  The game I want to talk about is Dani's game. I followed this development pretty much when I could and always thought that it was coming along well. I said that I was looking forward to seeing it fully completed. I think a lot of effort has gone into the project and lots of learning and understanding had to be done to pull everything together and tie it all up well to make it work fully. I think everything fit well and worked fully worked. The graphics and textures all fit together and helped create a good look to the world and made it all unite as one. I like that the game fully works and flows together well, its pretty clear where I have to go and what I have to do, this means it isn't frustrating and I don't really have to waste time figuring out what I have to do.
